The hours of work will be approximately 25.00 hours per week, and the post will be G03 PR 6–7 £14,877.57 – £15,597.48 per annum. £13.47 – £13.69 per hour.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and committed Cook-in-Charge to lead the catering service at Ysgol Betws yn Rhos, delivering nutritious, high‑quality meals that support the wellbeing of pupils, staff, and visitors.

• Organize, prepare and serve food at lunchtime for the students, staff and visitors of Ysgol Betws yn Rhos.
• Provide on‑the‑job training for new cooks and colleagues.
• Cook the meals required, manage portion control, food service, ordering, washing up and cleaning of kitchen and dining room.
• Be prepared to undergo appropriate training and development (sometimes outside normal working days/hours by prior arrangement) such as Intermediate Food Hygiene and Basic Nutrition.
• Perform associated clerical duties.

Due to the nature of the work, it will be necessary to obtain a satisfactory disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as the Criminal Records Bureau).
