Field Service Engineer Sussex / Surrey / Kent Regions Company Van, Overtime and Pension , Holiday ++ Opportunity for an experienced Field Service Engineer / Maintenance Engineer to work for this leading manufacturing organisation producing electro-mechanical detection equipment in a regional, home based position. You will operate within the South region and will be given the territory in and around your home area or within reasonable commute. Â In addition to a good basic the role also attracts paid O/T and a company van. Â Realistic opportunities exist for career progression within the group. You will be field based and as such you will travel throughout the UK (although focused on your region)and there is also the possibility of some overseas travel to customer sites. As Field Service Engineer you will; Support customer by visiting and undertaking installation, service, and maintenance of their specialist equipment As service Engineer this will include undertaking control panel wiring as well as using your fault finding skills to undertake on site modification Perform required planned preventative maintenance (PPM) of the equipment; Fault finding and service support of equipment Undertake commission & test of the systems in addition to ancillary and communications systems Provide customer training and offer advice / support Working requirements Monday to Friday only (i.e. no weekends) although there is a opportunity for overtime (O/T) To succeed in this varied role within the team you will ideally have: Prior Field Service Engineering experience covering installation, service as well as maintenance of electro-mechanical and pneumatic equipment A valid CSCS Card is sought A strong electrical understanding IEE C&G 17th or 18th Edition qualification would be useful but not essential A good level of PC literacy (MS Office, Emails) required Please apply via the link or contact Charlie Rush for further details Orion Electrotech Ltd acts as both an Employment Business and Employment Agency and complies with the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations Act 2003.
