Field Service Technician, Guildford

EJ560 - Field Service Technician Location: South East Salary: £23,000 plus car and OTE of £4,000 - £5,000 pro rata   Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Field Service Technician on behalf of one of our clients.  Reporting directly to the UK Service Manager you will provide information and advice to customers about the company?s services, products, maintenance, cleaning and sterilization procedures. Applications from ex-military candidates are actively encouraged, however all candidates will be given due consideration.                                   Area covered: Guildford, Farnborough, Chichester, Reigate, Redhill, Horsham, Dorking, Brighton Duties and Responsibilities:   Develop and maintain knowledge of the company?s products Undertake customer visits to existing and new prospective customers in order to further promote Repair Exchange initiative and therefore increase Repair Exchange revenue Drive to/from customer sites Provide customers with a collection Service as well as technical support Education of the customer to the service concept Ensure customer service is given fully without question Carry out any ad hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned by your manager or for business needs.  Skills and Qualifications: Degree or Engineering background preferred although a demonstrable ability to learn and a technical application bias will suffice.                Previous background of a Service position is desirable. Excellent communication skills are essential (including all aspects written, verbal and listening) A good standard of numeracy is also required Polite and courteous manner regardless of the situation Good English in verbal and written communication skills Ability to work calmly under pressure Willingness to go the extra mile at busy times Ability to work under own initiative Flexibility within the role is essential as the role is not specifically a 9am ? 5pm position and ensuring customer requirements are met is paramount                          Location: South East Salary: £23,000 plus car and OTE of £4,000 - £5,000 pro rata
