District Nurse/Trainee, Crieff

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Band 6 registered general nurse who holds a specialist practitioner qualification (SPQ) in District Nursing to join the community nursing team in the south locality.

Applicants without the SPQ will be considered within a training post. The post holder will be provided with full support to complete the Pg/Dip as part of the MSc in Advancing District Nursing, part time over two years through Robert Gordon University or Queen Margaret University College.

• Primarily based in Crieff and Comrie, with the requirement to travel across the locality when needed.
• Work flexibly to lead the team to deliver safe, effective, patient-centred care to every patient between the hours 8.30am-10pm over 7 days.
• Lead the implementation of change and improvement within your team and support the locality team in delivering PKHSCP and NHS Tayside’s vision and values.

• Registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register.
• Band 6 registered general nurse with SPQ in District Nursing. Applicants without SPQ will be considered for training.
