About the Role
This is an opportunity to join the lender’s growing sales function and play a key role in building relationships with brokers and introducers across the market. Depending on your experience, you will either work as a field-based BDM developing relationships face-to-face, or as a Telephone BDM supporting brokers, generating opportunities and managing deals from enquiry through to completion.
You’ll work closely with underwriting and operations teams to deliver a smooth broker experience, helping position the lender as a trusted partner in the bridging finance space. For ambitious individuals, there is clear scope to grow within the business as the sales team expands.
Business Development Manager – Bridging Finance: Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with brokers and introducers within the specialist property finance market
- Generate bridging and short-term property finance opportunities through your network and market engagement
- Work closely with underwriting and internal teams to ensure efficient deal progression
- Represent the lender professionally in the market, building brand awareness and trust
- Maintain regular contact with brokers to identify new opportunities and strengthen partnerships
- Provide feedback from the market to support product development and lending strategy

Skills & Experience
- Experience within property finance, specialist lending, mortgages, or financial services sales
- Bridging finance experience is advantageous but not essential for more junior candidates
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- A proactive, driven attitude with a genuine interest in the property finance market
- Ability to manage broker relationships and support deals through to completion
- Ambition to grow and develop within a fast-paced lending environment
