Chef - Romsey, Test Valley

Term Time Only – 40.6 Weeks per Year | Optional Overtime Available

Location: Romsey

Hours: Monday to Friday 11:00 – 19:00, plus one weekend day per term for open days. Contract: Term time only (44 weeks per year). Overtime: Optional during non-term periods or special events. Salary: £16.48 per hour (£23,638).

• Preparing and serving nutritious meals for students and staff
• Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met
• Supporting menu planning and stock control
• Working collaboratively with the catering team to deliver high-quality service

• Previous experience as a chef or cook (ideally in an education or similar setting)
• A passion for food and service
• Strong understanding of food safety and allergen management
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
