Service Engineer, Crossgar BT30 9ET

We are currently looking for a Service Engineer where the role will consist of carrying out direct planned maintenance and breakdown maintenance on a wide range of food processing and packaging machinery. Provide day to day engineering support to our customers as well as working on projects. You must have sound diagnostic and problem-solving skills as well as basic fabrication skills are also required along with good general knowledge of workshop practice. This position offers an opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking maintenance team working throughout UK, Ireland. Office based but will require travel when needed

The installation, testing, maintenance and repair of all machinery

Responsible for equipment and breakdowns, corrective actions and implement counter measure to minimise reoccurrence of faults.

Ensure relative maintenance parts are sourced and reported in a timely manner to minimise disruption.

Experience:

To succeed in this role, it is expected that you will have:

Engineering qualification or time served experience, Experience of working in an food machinery environment

Proven experience of maintenance systems, breakdown maintenance and installations and knowledge of motors, inverters, and PLC's. Experience in fault diagnosis within a production/manufacturing environment
