Senior Homeless Recovery Support Worker, Banbury

Apricus Resourcing are currently looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and adaptable Full Time Permanent Onsite Senior Homeless Recovery Support Worker for a leading Spiritual Life Recovery Service to work full or part time in working primarily in either the OX16 post code area of Banbury in Nprth Oxfordshire.

This available full-time hours of work only 37.5 hours a week primarily Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, with a rota system should weekends or bank holidays needed to be worked but this will not cause you to go above 37.5 hours a week unless you want it to.

As a key worker for our clients who may experience homelessness as a result of a hospital visit, we will expect you to lead on the case management of these clients. You will work in partnership with other agencies to create holistic, caring and personalised support plans for them. Our clients usually have a range of support needs that might impact their experience of homelessness. This includes mental health problems, social isolation, challenging behaviour, finance and debt, alcohol and drug abuse and you will be working with them to achieve outcomes that include move on. It is important to let you know that at times this role is tough, but most of the time it is very rewarding when you see the difference you make in the lives of others.

You will build compassionate, trauma-informed relationships, deliver high-quality support, coordinate with partners, manage risks and safeguarding, and help clients move on to suitable long-term housing.
