We’re building a brand that not only inspires creativity but also drives real commercial impact through content — and we’re looking for someone who understands how to turn social into a revenue-generating engine.

The Role

We’re looking for a hands-on, ecommerce-focused Social Media & Content Manager who understands how to create content that not only engages, but drives traffic, conversions, and repeat purchases.

This is a content-first, execution-heavy role — not just strategy. You will be responsible for planning, creating, and optimising content that directly supports ecommerce growth.

You’ll also be involved in product-focused shoots, campaigns, and creator collaborations, particularly around launches and key retail moments.

Key ResponsibilitiesEcommerce Content & Creative Direction

  • Create and/or brief product-focused, conversion-driven content (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts)
  • Develop content that showcases:
  • Products in use
  • Tutorials / how-to
  • Before/after transformations
  • Ensure content aligns with UK trends, culture, and buying behaviour
  • Balance brand storytelling with commercial intent

Social Media Management (Growth + Revenue Focus)

  • Own and manage all social channels (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, Facebook)
  • Plan and execute a content calendar aligned with product launches and promotions
  • Optimise content for:
  • Reach
  • Engagement
  • Click-throughs
  • Conversions

Community & Customer Engagement

  • Actively engage with customers via comments, DMs, and conversations
  • Turn engagement into customer relationships and repeat buyers
  • Support product feedback loops from community insights

UGC & Influencer (Ecommerce-Focused)

  • Identify and collaborate with UK-based creators who can drive product demand
  • Build a UGC pipeline for consistent product-led content
  • Manage gifting campaigns with clear ROI and performance tracking

Campaign & Seasonal Trading Calendar

  • Lead content planning across key ecommerce moments:
  • Christmas
  • Valentine’s Day
  • Easter
  • Halloween
  • Align content with:
  • Promotions
  • Product launches
  • Sales campaigns

Email & Retention (Klaviyo Support)

  • Work with the agency to support email campaigns and automated flows
  • Identify opportunities to improve:
  • Repeat purchase
  • Customer retention
  • Lifecycle marketing

Performance & Optimisation

  • Track performance across social and campaigns:
  • Engagement
  • Click-through rate
  • Conversion
  • Use insights to continuously improve content and strategy
  • Understand what content drives sales, not just likes

What We’re Looking ForCore Requirements

  • Proven experience in social media + content creation for ecommerce brands
  • Strong portfolio of product-focused content (especially short-form video)
  • Deep understanding of:
  • TikTok / Instagram content formats
  • What drives engagement AND conversion
  • Experience with:
  • UGC
  • Influencer collaborations
  • Comfortable being hands-on (shooting, editing, posting)

Working Style

  • Highly organised and able to manage a fast-moving content calendar
  • Comfortable working in a performance-driven environment
  • Able to balance creativity with commercial thinking

Essential

  • Based in the UK
  • Able to work UK hours
  • Available for in-person shoots, store visits, and creator collaborations (London / Birmingham)
  • Looking for a full-time, dedicated role (not managing multiple external clients/accounts)

Bonus

  • Experience in:
  • Ecommerce / D2C brands
  • Food / baking / lifestyle
  • Familiarity with Shopify, Klaviyo, or ecommerce tools
  • Personal interest in baking or creative communities
