Humanities Teacher | Specialist School | September 2026 Start

We are supporting a specialist independent school in Outer London in the appointment of a Humanities Teacher to join from September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for a committed Humanities Teacher to join a nurturing and highly structured environment where a Humanities Teacher will play a key role in shaping engaging, accessible learning. The Ideal Humanities Teacher

We are looking for a teacher who:

Essential

• Holds QTS
• Has experience teaching Humanities at secondary level
• Can confidently deliver across KS3 (KS2/KS4 experience beneficial)
• Has strong subject knowledge across History, Geography and/or RE
• Is committed to inclusive education and student wellbeing
• Demonstrates strong classroom management and relationship‑building skills

Desirable

• Experience working in a SEND or specialist setting
• Familiarity with autism‑informed or trauma‑informed approachesExperience teaching GCSE Humanities
