As the Quantity Surveyor your responsibilities will include: Supporting Commercial, Planning, Operations and Finance Teams on the successful management and control of the commercial and contractual elements of projects Experience in NEC, JCT and bespoke forms of contracts. Maximising Earned Value, minimising cost expenditure, minimising work in progress and management of Risk & Opportunity, thus maximising the company's profitability Support and challenge operations and drive efficiencies. Experience in managing Subcontractors in accordance with company procedures Weekly / monthly Earned Value reporting, cost monitoring, profit/loss reporting, monthly WIP reconciliations and updated Cost to Complete reporting On-going commercial management of projects: Interim valuations, final accounts, etc. Key skills as the Quantity Surveyor: Minimum of 2 years Quantity Surveying experience Previous experience of working in Utility sector will be preferable Strong NEC, JCT and bespoke contract experience Be able to demonstrate a wide range of general quantity surveying skills as well as the ability to adapt to work of a specialist nature within the team Well-developed IT skills and high levels of numeracy and literacy Strong commercial attitude with an understanding of company needs Attention to detail and prioritise work loadPlease apply accordingly, if you feel this role sounds like a good match for yourself, or call Sian on (phone number removed)
