Technical Sales Executive £28,000 - £35,000 + Competitive Commission Package + Car Allowance Based In South Yorkshire, Covering North West and Ireland Working For An Industry Leader In Laboratory Equipment - Are you currently working as a Technician in a laboratory based environment and looking to make the transition into a customer-facing sales position? - Are you an experienced b2b sales professional who has experience in selling equipment or consumables into labs, universities and research facilities? --------------------------------Either way, we want to hear from you!----------------------------------- The Business Perpetual is currently supporting a long-standing partner who has a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Sales Executive to join a globally established equipment manufacturer in South Yorkshire. The group specialise in the design and build of highly specialised equipment for the Pharmaceutical, Medical, Life Science and Clinical industries world-wide. They sell products into a verity of environments including but not limited to labs, hospitals, universities, schools and government agencies. The Opportunity The business has seen significant growth year on year since their inception 30 years ago and they are now looking to recruit a ?hands-on? and proactive Sales Executive to help develop their market presence across the UK. This is an exciting time to join the business, as backed by the global group who have a combined turnover of over $100 Million, the UK head office site is planning to double in size over the next 18 months. They plan to do this by following an ongoing strategy to improve existing products, develop new products, and expand the sales and service network globally. Day to day this individual will be responsible for: Plan target market activities and develop key account strategy Prospecting and sales lead generation Review existing customer accounts and generate leads and new markets for the company?s products Manage the sales pipeline in designated territories Actively promote company products to existing and potential customers Administer and coordinate in-house sales inquiries/activities Survey the market and estimate the company?s market share in all major product categories, competitor market share and strategies Attend site visits, sales meeting and presentations Review customers? enquiries liaise with clients, internal departments and relevant parties Handle sales contact, quotation, invoice, delivery schedule Perform full sales function including pre-sales and after-sales activities Prepare and update sales report, customers? database, CRM system Other assigned duties The Person The ideal candidate will be degree qualified in Biology/Biomedical Sciences having spent some time (12 months +) working in a lab environment. This business is willing to train and develop an individual with the right attitude who is looking to make the transition from lab to sales. On the other hand, you may already be working in a B2B environment already having sold equipment, devices or consumables into laboratory or university environments and be looking for a new challenge.
