Community Learning and Skills Tutor (Accredited Courses) …, Barrow in Furness

We are looking for an ESOL tutor in Barrow to teach accredited and non‑accredited ESOL courses at various levels. The role involves delivering workshops and courses online and in local community venues, working across the county and across a range of learning styles. The successful candidate will provide engaging lessons, support learners at all levels from absolute beginner to intermediate and beyond, and work flexibly day‑time and evenings to meet demand.

• Deliver ESOL workshops and courses to learners of all abilities.
• Teach both accredited and non‑accredited programmes across a range of levels.
• Work flexibly during daytime and evenings.
• Support learners with diverse needs and low‑level starting points.

• Teaching experience is essential.
• A teaching qualification, or working toward one, is required.
• Experience working with entry‑level learners and supporting those with a low‑level starting point is ideal.
