Multi Skilled Engineer, Hessle

New Holland Extraction is a UK based specialist in the extraction of niche market oils from seeds including rosehip, evening primrose, borage and blackcurrant to name a few of our 49 different oils we produce. Over the years we have continually developed our site, and we are going through further growth on the back of exciting new projects.

At New Holland Extraction our unique manufacturing facility gives us the flexibility to produce seed oils using the techniques of cold pressing and solvent extraction. These oils are exported across the globe for use in the Pharmaceutical, Cosmetics, Food and Animal Feed Industries.

Due to our continued business growth, we are looking to add an Multi Skilled Engineer to join our team at New Holland Extraction to work within our 24 / 7 speciality oils process operation.

You will be working as part of an exceptional team, providing support to all areas of operations on site these include oil pressing through to our solvent extraction plant to produce exceptional niche oils and feed for our clients around the world.

You will work as part of a small engineering team alongside our multiskilled operations team in all areas of process and site to help deliver exceptional performance that meets our customers’ high expectations.

As a multiskilled engineer you will be working in our MHRA, GMP accredited manufacturing site, to maximise efficiency, service, and oil quality, whilst ensuring that Health and Safety, food safety and pharma standards are never compromised.

Ideally you will have the following skills and behaviours to support your application.

· Multi-skilled engineer; skill bias towards mechanical or electrical

· Ideally time served or recognised trade training scheme.

· Experience of driving preventative maintenance.

· Experience of Fault finding and reducing down time.

· Suitable & relevant Engineering experience

· Experience of planned maintenance systems, preferably within the Food industry.

· Good H&S knowledge in legislation and application (IOSH qualification, desirable)

· A logical and structured thinker, with a strong ability to solve problems.

· Exposure to processing manufacturing; CI or lean methodologies

· Strong Communication skills in a team environment.

This role is commutable from Scunthorpe, Grimsby, Hull, and all surrounding areas.

This role is a days-based role working 40hrs a week (Mon to Fri), with the opportunity for occasional overtime.
