Catering Assistant, Barton upon Humber

We are looking for an experienced Catering Assistant to join our kitchen, based at our state‑of‑the‑art factory in Barton‑Upon‑Humber. The position is full‑time, working 5 days a week from Monday to Friday, 06:00‑14:30. Salary for this position is £26,832. Driving licence is essential.

• Dealing with the replenishment of vending machines.
• Ensuring stock levels are maintained for the vending machines by liaising with suppliers and regularly checking stock levels.
• Basic preparation, serving and handling of food in the canteen when required.
• Keeping the workstation tidy, including clearing down at the end of the shift, washing up and maintaining cleanliness.
• Being part of the cleaning rota on a weekly basis.

• Catering experience (essential).
• Good communication skills.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to cover other members of staff due to holidays, sickness, etc.
• Interest and knowledge of food.
• Capable of working in a culturally diverse environment.
• Driving licence is essential.
