Nursery Practitioner The Treehouse Club, is now recruiting for a fun bubbly practitioner to join our team. We are situated in the Thiftwood scout centre, Orchard Ave, Brentwood, CM13 2DP. We thrive on being outdoors as much as possible and giving the children a forestry based educational adventure! We are looking for an experienced professional level 3 nursery practitioner to work with our current staff team. We offer fantastic ongoing cpd and growth within the company. Hours: 7.30am to 6.30pm 4 days a week. Salary and benefits * Salary £8.72 - £9.50 per hour, subject to experience on a banding system. * Uniform. * Perkbox discount scheme. * Free on-site parking. * Pension available. Nursery Practitioner Key Responsibilities * Be responsible as a Key Worker for a number of children. * Gain a clear understanding of policies and procedures. * Plan with other room staff and deliver a range of activities for the children. 1 Operational Responsibilities of the Nursery Practitioner * To ensure that the nursery conforms to and exceeds the requirements of Ofsted. * To ensure that the nursery consistently meets the requirements set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage to a minimum good standard. * To uphold and ensure a high standard of care throughout the nursery. * To implement and maintain the company?s Equality policy ensuring that children, parents and the staff team are valued and practice is positive and non-discriminatory. * Ensure that your key children settle in and complete progress checks. * Complete all sharing information forms for your key children. * To monitor any safeguarding issues following local authority procedures. * Notify Room Leader of any complaints received or any situation that may be detrimental to the company, agree actions to resolve issues and implement accordingly. * Create strong parent relationships, including attending parents? evening. * Complete any designated responsibilities for SENCO, ENCO and H&S Officer roles assigned to you. All staff, volunteers and main contractors undergo appropriate DBS checks prior to appointment. Safer recruitment The Treehouse Forestry Nursery and Out of School Club applies safer recruitment policies to ensure that all of our staff are suitable to work with children and young people. We advise you in advance that two people will be involved in your recruitment process. Both people will partake in your interview and each person will individually review all applications and paperwork to ensure that you are suitable for the role.
