YouwillbepartoftheProductionteaminthefactoryinBasildon.YouwillprimarilyworkinSecondStage(ThroughHolesolderingandSMTre-work)workinginamodernworkingenvironment.

Mainresponsibilities

1.Handsolderingconventionalcomponents,somere-workmayberequiredforbothconventionalandSMTcomponents.

2.Pre-formingcomponents.

3.Readingworkpackstodetermineproductinstructionsandspecifications.

4.Inspectingfinishedworktoensureitmeetsqualitystandardsandresolvingdefectsasnecessary.

5.Accuratemarking&labellingofproducts.

6.Maintainingacleanandsafeworkingenvironment.

Skills,knowledge&experience

  • ExperienceandknowledgeofsolderingtoIPCclass2isessential.Class3isadvantageous.
  • Experienceofworkingwithinproductionofamanufacturingenvironment.
  • Demonstratesgoodmanualdexterityandhand-eyeco-ordination.
  • Methodicalintaskcompletionandgoodattentiontodetail/Abletoworkindividuallyorwithinateam.
  • Abletofollowverbalandwrittenworkinstructions/Flexibleandproactiveapproachtowork.
  • Havesuitablefitnesslevels(forstanding,movingandmanualhandling)andgoodeyesightforhandlingcolour-codedworkpacks.
