Site Engineer, Stanford-le-Hope

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Engineer for a long-term contract role on a major port redevelopment project in Stanford-le-Hope.

Role overview:

• Setting out and surveying for civil engineering / infrastructure works
• QA checks, as-built records, and site documentation
• Supporting day-to-day site operations and subcontractor coordination
• Ensuring works are delivered to programme, specification, and H&S requirements
• Liaising with site management, design teams, and operatives

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer on heavy civils, marine, or infrastructure projects
• Competent with setting out equipment and interpreting technical drawings
• CSCS card (essential)
• SMSTS/SSSTS beneficial
• Strong documentation and reporting skills

• Long-term freelance engagement
• 12-hour shifts
