About The Role

This vacancy is for full‑time 37 hours per week.

As a Housekeeping Assistant at HC‑One, kindness will be at the heart of everything you do. It’s what shapes our care across Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist homes. Responsibilities

You’ll help create a clean, safe, and welcoming home. Your work will make a real difference every day. Key responsibilities include:

  • Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas
  • Following cleaning schedules and tasks set by the team lead
  • Using products safely and following hygiene procedures
  • Supporting infection control and safety standards
  • Helping with laundry and linen care
  • Reporting any issues or repairs as needed
Qualifications & Skills

You’ll need to be organised, manage your time well, and work with attention to detail. Most of all, you’ll bring a positive attitude and be kind and respectful in every conversation — with residents, visitors, and your team.

Safeguarding

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You must be able to recognise signs of possible abuse, harm, or neglect and know what to do if there are any concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and undertake additional training in associated areas. You also have the ability to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
