Job Description: Overview We are seeking a dedicated CSCS Groundworker to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with groundworks and site preparation, ensuring safety and efficiency on-site. The ideal applicant will have relevant experience, a valid CSCS card, and a strong commitment to safety standards.Responsibilities Assisting with excavation, levelling, and groundwork activities in accordance with project specifications Operating basic construction tools and machinery Ensuring the work area is kept clean, organised, and safe at all times Supporting the team in setting up site equipment and materialsFollowing health and safety regulations diligently throughout all tasks Assisting with the installation of kerbs, paving, or other ground-related elements as required Reporting any hazards or issues to the site supervisor promptly Experience Valid CSCS card is essential Prior experience as a groundworker or in a similar construction role is desirableKnowledge of health and safety procedures on construction sites Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Good physical fitness and stamina for outdoor manual work in various weather conditions Basic understanding of construction tools and machinery is advantageous This position provides a valuable pathway into the construction industry with opportunities for skill development and career progression.
