Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Identify, record, and track defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
• Perform regression testing and maintain testing documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance testing processes and methodologies.
• Utilise automation tools where applicable to improve testing efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in software testing, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with Sysplex environments and mainframe systems is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Nice to have

• Experience with automated testing tools.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or C#.
• Certification in software testing (e.g. ISTQB) is a plus.
