Warehouse Operative, Ilchester

Kuehne + Nagel provides a production support service package and through life support for Leonardo Helicopters that consists of all standard logistics activities such as goods receipt, quality inspection, storage and picking & packing. In addition, centres co-located with the end user ensure store to fitment service.

• Support all day‑to‑day Warehouse and Supply Chain tasks as required in support of the service contract.
• Ensure all related tasks within the business units are carried out in line with the contracted customer requirements/JSP/working instructions.
• Participate in the AOG rota to fulfil the customers “Out Of Hours” requirements, if needed.
• Operate all MHE, including Forklift Trucks (training provided), as required to fulfil the output of the unit.
• Act as Building Lock Up and conduct security checks as required.
• Be prepared to commit to flexible working hours between 07:30 and 21:59 within the contracted working schedule.
• Carry out warehouse processes in line with the role of a Warehouse Operative.
• Adhere to the Company’s Health & Safety procedures at all times, especially when using machinery and protective devices.
• Contribute actively to Continuous Improvement projects and ideas.
• Perform any additional tasks as agreed with the Team Leader.

• Fully flexible and willing to learn.
• Attention to detail and a “right first time” approach.
• Good communication skills.
• Experience with MJDI/SAP desirable but not essential.
• Confident in a busy & diverse working environment and able to prioritise work day‑to‑day.
• Computer literate and trained in MS Office Suite.
• Full driving licence and readiness to operate MHE (including FLT).
• Willingness to undergo Security Check Clearance.
• Good housekeeping skills.
