Job Title: Lifeguard

Location: Basingstoke Aquadrome

Working Hours/Pattern: 37 hours per week, Monday to Sunday, mixture of early openings (starting 5:30am) and late closures (up to 10:30pm)

Salary: Up to £13.27 per hour + excellent benefits

Our goal is to encourage active, healthy lifestyles in a safe, warm, clean, friendly and fun environment. We are looking to recruit a full‑time Lifeguard to join our team.

As a Lifeguard you’ll ensure that everyone can use the pool safely and have access to everything they need to enjoy their visit. You will provide customer care to people of all ages, supervise activities, maintain high standards of cleanliness in the pool area and ensure safe handling and set up of pool equipment. You will also be prepared to save lives when necessary.

You will work as part of a close‑knit and supportive team that delivers an inclusive leisure hub for the entire community.

• Excellent customer service skills and experience in a customer‑facing environment (leisure or otherwise)
• Safety conscious, vigilant and able to deal with pressurised situations
• Strong swimming skills and hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (Royal Life Saving Society)
• Minimum age 18 years
