Production Supervisor, Bedford

D&A group are currently looking for a Production Supervisor for an immediate start in the Bedford area. This will be an initial 3-month contract with a competitive pay rate of £10.80 per hour with weekly pay. There is the opportunity for the right person to be taken on permanently or have their contract extended. Shifts are Monday to Friday 08:00-17:30. It is essential that you are experienced in leading a team, able to delegate work to them and performance manage where improvement is needed. Essential Requirements: Experience leading and supervising a team of 6-8 people including performance management Able to multitask a range of projects and delegate jobs to your team Good level of English and good communication skills Able to identify and communicate any issues to Account Managers and Operations Manager Your duties will include: Training of staff and monitoring performance Communication of issues to Account Managers and Operations Manager Performing QA checks and producing reports Completing audits to maintain 100% compliance Monday to Friday working 08:00-17:30 In return we offer: Hourly pay rate of £10.80 per hour Weekly pay Contract ongoing work for 3 months possibly longer Onsite canteen with snack machines Free Hi - Vis / Uniform Free onsite parking Due the location of the site you will need to have your own transport.
