Established many years ago, our client is a leading aerospace specialist which works with the most recognised manufactures within the aeronautical space. Constantly having to adapt to the ever-changing nature of the industry, they are always working on exciting industry first projects and require and talented software engineer to join the team. You will be responsible for working as part of an experienced Systems team focused on the overall control of a large and technically fascinating site used for the research and development of products within the aeronautical industry. Technology and skills will include Developing LabVIEW code for NI Hardware platforms such as Compact RIO and PXI. Due to the ever-changing nature of the industry, you will be exposed to industry first project and products up to 10 years before production! The Role: * Software engineer * LabVIEW * Developing and enhancing legacy software and equipment for a technically fascinating plant * Evaluate and enhancing hardware platforms such as Compact RIO, PXI chassis and Windows PC's * End to end project work including testing. * Working within a close knit and skilled systems engineering team * Long term and technically interesting permanent role The Person: * Degree in computer Science or software engineering * Experience in developing LabVIEW code for NI Hardware platforms such as Compact RIO or PXI. * Experienced using Ethernet Communication protocols such as TCP or UDP * Looking for a long term and technically interesting permanent role Job Reference number: RTR94336
