Fire and Security Engineer, Bedford

My Client based in Bedfordshire are currently seeking an experienced Fire and Security Engineer to join their expanding team. Being BAFE and FIA accredited they take great pride in their high standards of work. This is a smaller but very well established company, enabling them to push the right candidate through training, progression and a personal development plan. You will be mainly working on commercial sites and within the educational sector so you will be required to pass enhanced security screening. Local work ? you must live within 30 miles of Bedford Monday to Friday 8am ? 5pm **THIS COMPANY IS WILLING TO ACCEPT APPLICATIONS FROM JUST FIRE ALARM ENGINEERS AND JUST SECURITY SYSTEM ENGINEERS. MULTI DISCIPLINED WOULD BE BENEFICIAL BUT NOT ESSENTIAL** Main responsibilities: ·Service of Fire alarm systems ·Small install works of Fire alarm systems ·Service of Intruder alarms, Access Control and CCTV ·Work on Fire extinguishers when required ·Participate on call out rota (very rarely called out) ·Recording all work on the appropriate system and reporting to line manager when required ·Ensure all work is carried out to British Standards, adhering to all Health and Safety policies Knowledge and experience: ·Minimum of 2 years experience within the Fire and Security sector ·Experience working on Commercial and Educational sites ·Must be competent with PC, Gent, Advanced, Morley, Kentec, Texecom, Pyronix, Galaxy, Hikvision, Paxton, Videx and Commissioning ·Ideally will hold FIA?s or similar (not essential) Benefits: ·Up to £34,000 basic ·New van ·iPhone 11 ·20 days holiday plus bank holidays ·Training and progression ·Local work If you are based in Bedfordshire and feel this role could be the one for you then please do not hesitate and apply NOW
