Job Title: Assembly Technician
Job Type: Temporary (for around 6 weeks, possibly longer)
Location: Luton
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8am-5pm & Friday, 8am-2pm
Hourly Rate: £12.71 per hour
Our extremely busy client based in Luton are currently looking for a number of Assembly Technician's to help out with a large project within their Production area, on a Temporary basis for around 6 weeks (possibly longer). We are looking for candidate's who are ideally available immediately, and come from an Electronics Assembly background who are able to hit the ground running immediately.
Duties as an Assembly Technician:
- Assemble mechanical parts in accordance with defined build instructions & drawings
- Ensure all IPC-A-610 standards are met with accordingly
- Using a variety of tools and equipment to complete each job
- Perform regular quality checks, ensuring company standards are adhered to
- Rework and/or repair assembled products according to engineering specification changes
- Notifying Supervisory team of any imperfections or missed deadlines
What's needed as an Assembly Technician:
- Previous experience within Electronics Assembly
- Previous experience within PCB Assembly ideal
- Strong attention to detail
- Ideally available immediately
- Previous use of relevant tools & equipment
- Must be able to work within a team and individually
