Job Title: Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer

Location: Bedfordshire & Surrounding Areas
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 per annum (DOE)

The Role:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer to join our expanding team. Based in Bedfordshire and covering surrounding areas, you will be responsible for the maintenance, and repair of a range of commercial gas systems across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on commercial gas appliances and systems

• Fault-finding, diagnostics, and effective repair of commercial gas plant

• Installation and commissioning of commercial gas boilers and associated equipment

• Complete accurate job reports via a digital system

• Ensure all work complies with current legislation and safety standards

• Deliver excellent customer service and build strong client relationships

• Participate in a 1-in-6 call-out rota, with £150 standby pay

Requirements:

• Valid commercial gas qualifications (e.g. COCN1, CODNCO1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1/1A) – Essential

• Proven experience in the commercial gas industry (maintenance, servicing & breakdowns)

• Strong technical and fault-finding skills

• Full UK driving licence

• Good understanding of relevant health & safety regulations

• Self-motivated and able to manage your own workload

• Willingness to participate in call-out rota (1 in 6 weeks)

Package & Benefits:

• Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 depending on experience and certifications
