Multi-Drop Customer Delivery Driver, Bedford

We are looking for a Customer Delivery Operative to deliver goods to customers, whilst also providing an excellent customer service experience.

Key responsibilities include:

• Manual handling of heavy, bulky items in a safe and careful manner.
• Ensure customers receive the accurate hire equipment on time and in a positive & friendly manner in accordance with our delivery targets
• Resolve problems promptly, communicating with customers and colleagues as required.
• Follow safe working processes/practices while driving and loading/unloading, using appropriate machinery.
• Communicate with colleagues in other departments to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Operate THX’s delivery IT system, updating the system data and taking pictures of equipment.
• Raise issues and opportunities to improve the THX operations.
• Identify sales opportunities while travelling and report these back to the sales team.

Requirements

• Experience in a customer-facing role, providing excellent customer service.
• Previous experience of driving professionally & delivering goods is preferred, but not essential.
• Manual handling and the ability to maneuver heavy equipment.
• A valid, clean UK driving license for manual vehicles.
• Computer literate with a familiarity of IT and navigation systems.
• Reliable, flexible and a strong team-player.
• Comfortable driving in congested areas include London.
