We have an exciting opportunity for a Construction Estimator based in Bedford for one of our clients on a Full time permanent basis. Summary of the Construction Estimator role Salary:£60,000 Location: Bedford Type of Contract: Permanent Hours: Monday Thursday 8.30am-5pm, Friday 8.30am-4.30pmResponsibilities of the Construction Estimator Prepare cost estimates, tender pricing and bid submissions Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation Obtain and analyse quotations Quantity take-offs and cost analysis Highlight potential risks Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractorsSupport project handovers Requirements for a successful Construction Estimator Previous experience in estimating within commercial/industrial construction Solid knowledge of construction methods and materials Competence in interpreting technical drawings and specifications Strong numerical ability alongside analytical and communication skillsSkilled in Microsoft Office and relevant estimating software Capable of meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment About Allstaff Recruitment Were an independent recruitment specialist based in Bedfordshire, supporting businesses across Bedford, Milton Keynes, and surrounding areas.
