Job Role: CNC/Manual Turner Salary:£35,000 per annum Metalis are working exclusively with a precision engineering company in Coventry (CV6), who are looking for a CNC/Manual Turner to join their team. Job Duties: You will be setting and operating an XYZ SLX425 x 1.25m Proturn Lathe&a Colchester Mastiff VS1800 Program online for CNC's Small batch work (20 off's max) Read and interpret engineering drawings Use of Surface Grinders, Offhand Grinders, Band Saw, Tub Grinders, Reciprocating Saw, Diamond Lap when required Inspection of components as required using the various inspection facilities availableIdentification of tooling requirements for production purposes and procurement of tooling as required in conjunction with production engineering Identifying potential improvements in productivity and liaising with production engineering as required to implement improvements Job Requirements: Engineering apprenticeship/Time Served is requiredCNC and Manual experience is preferred Tool Room experience is preferred Salary&Shift:£35,000 per annum Monday to Thursday, 7:30am - 4:30pm&Friday, 7:30am - 12:30pm If this role is of interest to you, please apply with your CV!
