Covid 19 Safe Resourcing Manager, Belfast

We have a new opportunity for an experienced Health and Safety professional to join a corporate organisation for a fixed term contract until 31st March 2021. The COVID-19 Safe Resourcing Manager will be responsible for carrying out a range of key activities, to ensure the delivery of the Workforce Next Project and to deliver the safe return of staff to the organisations buildings. Essential criteria: * Relevant professional qualification in Health & Safety (e.g. NEBOSH) * At least 2 years? experience in a Health & Safety role * An excellent level of knowledge and understanding of project management techniques. * An understanding H&S and the impact of COVID-19 on safe working practices. * An excellent understanding of risk assessment Experience of: * Leading the delivery of specific projects through the entire life cycle to implementation; ensuring delivery to time, cost and quality including closure; * Effectively communicating with and influencing a range of stakeholders; * Effective use of project management methodologies. Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK and will need to complete criminal record checks. Duties will include: * Manage the requirements to prepare staff for the return to the buildings; * Design and develop the Workforce Next project plan which will set out a step by step process to ensure the safe return of staff to the CCEA buildings; * Project manage the Workforce Next action plan providing updates on actions; * Undertake the role of Communications Lead on COVID-19 Safe Resourcing action plan; * Develop and update information to be published on COVID-19 Tiger Page; * Undertake training and support to line managers and staff on guidance for safe return to the buildings; * Draft and implement policies to ensure that the organisation remains compliant in line with PHA guidance; * Undertake Training of line managers on completion of team/individual risk assessment; * 3Provide expert advice on COVID-19 policies and procedures. This is a full time position. 36.5 hours per week during normal office hours. The role is a fixed term contract until 31st March 2021 and applicants will need to be able to attend interview w/c 21st of December with a view to taking up the post shortly after. The successful candidate can expect a salary £33,700 PA + depending on experience. The company also provide a good range of benefits and great holidays for their staff.
