Essential: Strong hands-on Linux administration experience, ideally within Debian/Ubuntu production environments Solid troubleshooting ability across infrastructure, servers, networking and system performance issues Experience with scripting/automation using Bash, Python or similar tools Good understanding of networking fundamentals including DNS, VPNs, routing and firewalls Experience supporting databases such as PostgreSQL and/or MySQL/MariaDB in live environments Desirable: AWS/cloud infrastructure experience Exposure to SIP/VoIP or telecoms environments Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, or configuration management tools Experience working within high-availability or large-scale production environments Why choose VANRATH?
