Our Teaching Assistants are fulfilled by the idea of making even the smallest positive changes in our young people. At Witherslack Group you will work with children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, helping them learn, develop their abilities and raise their self‑esteem.

• Working with children and young people to support learning and development.
• Providing a supportive, resilient environment and helping to raise self‑esteem.
• Supporting the teacher and working closely with therapists.
• Being a team player, rolling up sleeves to help others (“can do” attitude).

• Resilient, dedicated and with a genuine passion for supporting children to learn.
• Ideally experience working in a classroom; if not, relevant training will be provided.
• Enthusiasm and expertise to support teachers and therapists.
