What you'll be doing Delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to maximise equipment reliability Responding to breakdowns efficiently, minimising downtime in a fast-paced production environmentSupporting continuous improvement initiatives and engineering upgrades Collaborating with operations to drive safety, quality and performance Supporting the installation, commissioning and integration of new equipment What you'll be working with Highly automated process and filling lines with advanced PLC systemsHigh-speed blow moulding and hygienic filling technology Multi-axis robotic packaging systems One of the UK's largest pallet cooling and transport systems Site-wide infrastructure including: Combined Heat&Power (CHP) Advanced compressed air systems Sustainability and recycling technologies What we're looking for A time-served Engineering Apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in an Engineering discipline Experience within a manufacturing or production environment Strong knowledge of reactive and preventative maintenanceExperience working with automation, robotics or process equipment (desirable) A proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills A team player committed to high safety and performance standards What you'll get in return£57,289 salary plus 1.5x overtime £5,000 sign-on bonus (paid after successful completion of probation)5% bonus* Health care cash plan 282 hours annual leave The opportunity to work within a state-of-the-art, highly automated site Ongoing investment in training, development and career progression The chance to be part of a major site expansion and transformation journey Why join Mller Market Drayton?This isn't just another engineering role.
