We are looking for a Lecturer in Computing to join our team. This is a 35 hours per week, full-time, permanent role offering a salary of£31,410 to£43,440 per annum.

Job Purpose/Key Responsibilities:
- To carry out formal scheduled teaching and complete registers for every lesson.
- To act as a personal tutor to a group/s of students.
- To prepare learning materials and students'assignments.
- Timely and accurate marking of students'work and examinations, moderation, verification and the provision of developmental feedback.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in a Computer Science/IT related subject.
- Recognised full teaching qualification. If applicant does not possess a teaching qualification they must undertake to successfully complete within an agreed timeframe.
- Qualification in English at Level 2 or above.
- Qualification in Maths at Level 2 or above.
- Knowledge and experience of a range of teaching strategies and techniques.
- Able to demonstrate the ability to use IT to support learners in a flexible learning environment including tracking learner progress.
