HGV Class 1 Day Driver, Birmingham

OUTLINE A well-established logistics company in Birmingham are looking for an experienced Class 1 Drivers. Our client is looking to expand their large team of quality drivers to work on an ongoing basis. The role will involve morning starts and you will be responsible for delivering general haulage to various clients. THE JOB ROLE * Ongoing Opportunity for the right candidate * Delivering General haulage/Curtain siders/box to various clients around the UK * 2-5 Drops/collections per day * Pay rate would be: * £11.00 PAYE / £13.00 LTD ? Days * Completing relevant paperwork * Vehicle safety checks needed before and after shifts * Requires good customer service and using own initiative * Monday to Friday * Possible weekends * Minimal handball * Start times will be between 01:00 ? 11:00 * 45+ Hours a week * Minimum of 8 hours EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS * In-date CPC is essential * Digi tachograph card holder * Experience in DHL/JLR/Yodel and Amazon would be an advantage * Maximum 6 Points on Driving Licence * Nights out would be advantageous * Up to date CV with previous work history is ideal * PPE (Hi-Vis, Safety boots, etc...) * 2 Year Class 1 experience is necessary
