Senior Structural Engineer / Structural Surveyor, Nationwide

Think Civil & Structural Engineering have recently registered a great opportunity with a busy structural consultancy who are looking to add an experienced Structural Engineer / Structural Surveyor to their team. Our client have been particularly busy throughout 2020, with their current workload running well into 2021 and, as such, are looking to recruit a Structural Engineer at a senior level in order for them to continue to provide a high quality service to their well established client base. A remote/home based role, our client are flexible on the location the successful candidate is based in however Engineers in the East Midlands, South West or North West would be preferred, while on a day to day basis you will be responsible for the inspection of a variety of buildings and structures, preparing reports and advising on remedial works as dictated by the project. Ideally Chartered or working towards Chartership with ICE or IStructE, the ideal candidate will have several years post graduate experience in the inspection and reporting on structural defects along with excellent knowledge of traditional and non-traditional construction methods.
