Senior Quantity Surveyor - Civil Engineering, Penryn A new permanent opportunity to join a busy & thriving civil and marine engineering contractor has arisen. Does working in a challenging, varied environment for a privately owned marine & civils contractor interest you? This business is known for its delivery in three core areas; Specialist and general vessel operations. Marine civil contracting Marine renewable energy installations, operations & maintenance. With projects nationally and incredibly strong project order book you will be making a sensible decision to join this contractor. Your roles will be varied with commercial timeframes literally changing with the tide. Core responsibilities; Leading commercial activity from estimation and tendering from concept through to completion, account management, forecasting input, identifying opportunities for revenue maximisation and claim management. Delivery of profitable projects and effective management & development clients including upselling, claims management and winning repeat custom. Work in a participative, collaborative and enthusiastic manner alongside operational teams. Negotiate and develop contracts based on multiple forms of commercial contract law, the development of forms of contract including BIMCO, LOGIC, FIDIC and NEC.This is an outstanding role and unusual opportunity to join forces with this contractor.
