Tutor/Trainer- General Construction- Short Courses We are currently recruiting for a highly professional and experienced Training Provider based in County Durham As a result of expansion we are looking to recruit an experienced Tutor who specialises in the delivery of Construction Qualifications As a qualified and experienced Construction Tutor you will be delivering a range of level 1 Construction programmes to unemployed adults or facing redundancy. These courses are short courses that last 4 days. As a qualified and experienced Construction Assessor/Tutor can expect: " Competitive Salary of up to £24000 " Pension Scheme, Phone, Laptop " Business Mileage " Continuous Professional development This is a regional training based position where duties of the Construction Tutor will include: " Supporting unemployed learners who are undertaking Level 1 Construction Programmes which include Health and Safety " Travelling to different centres in County Durham to deliver the set Construction Programme " Formulate and maintain individual learning plans " Deliver high quality teaching, learning and assessment as required by the Company. " Provide information and guidance " Working to specific quality and completion of targets " Helping with enrolment of learners " Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress. Skills, Experience and Qualifications Required for the Trainer in Construction " Recognised teaching qualification e.g. PTTLS or equivalent is desirable " NVQ Level 2 in General Construction or equivalent " Vocational competence within General Construction " Ideally have experience delivering Training Programmes to unemployed learners " Full UK driving license and flexibility to travel is essential This position is available immediately.
