Technical Manager, Birmingham

Technical Manager This is a chance to join a fast growing manufacturing business who work with a number of health & beauty brands to bring NPD to market. The business also have their own internal brands and the Technical Manager will be responsible for both. You will lead a small team of Chemists & Technicians to work on customer NPD projects from brief through to launch, supporting the team where necessary and still working directly within Formulation yourself. You will work with the commercial teams to assess NPD briefs, work with raw material suppliers to source the right materials at the right price and work on the scale up of products and giving guidance and support to the blending teams within manufacturing. I am looking for a Senior Chemist who is strong technically and looking for a step up in to more of a management position currently.
