Senior Practice Accountant - Remote Working, Birmingham

Spencer Clarke Group are working closely alongside A Cloud Based Accountancy Practice to provide them a with a Senior Accountant to join their team on a permanent Basis! Full Time Your Role You will be working with a fully cloud based Chartered Accountancy practice. Our client were amongst the first adopters of remote working software and over the past few years they have continued to invest heavily in technology that allows their staff to communicate with each other and work remotely from home. They believe strongly that the correct use of technology brings a better work life balance and enhances family relationships. Our client is looking for a Senior Accountant who has solid practice experience. Minimum of 3 years post qualified experience within practice ACA/ACCA fully qualified Experience managing workflows in a practice environment Ability to work under own initiative to agreed timescales Technical abilities with the ability to quickly assimilate and understand software This is a remote working, technology-based role. The candidate will be required to be extremely adept at using cloud technology and be confident in using video conferencing software such as Teams, Zoom and WhatsApp. You will be responsible for the preparation of limited company accounts across a wide spectrum of clients from a diverse range of sectors. You will also be responsible for the completion of the associated corporation tax compliance work. Working knowledge of Xero is a must whilst experience of Quickbooks would also be an advantage. Your background will be from working within a professional firm of Accountants and you will be comfortable working semi autonomously and managing your own portfolio of clients. You will be able to research technical issues when needed, advise clients. This is true remote working role, so please consider if you have the environment to successfully work a remote a position.
