Data Engineer / Installer / Structured Cabling / Fibre /CSCS / IPAF Rate: £18.00 per hour + 10 hour days + Overtime + Ongoing contracts Location: West Midlands, Birmingham, Solihull, Walsall, Coventry, Gaydon, Redditch, Stourbridge, Wolverhampton, West Bromwich, Nuneaton, Tamworth, Solihull, Lichfield, Walsall, Bromsgrove, Telford, Stoke on Trent, Leicester, Derby, Bristol, Leeds, Milton Keynes The Company: Automotive Manufacturer based in the Midlands The Role: Data Engineer This Automotive Manufacturer is looking for several experienced Data Engineer to install, commission and maintain structured cabling projects on their sites in the West Midlands. Normal shifts will be 10 hour days typically starting onsite at 07:30 am and weekends will be required. The Ideal Candidate: * Existing experience working within Automotive car plants/manufacturing environments. * Ensures that work is in line with approved plans and compliant with the contract. * Responsible for site installation and maintenance activities, the control of materials and inspection and testing. * Maintaining and updating the site folder and inspection/test records.* Ensures the safety of all personnel on-site. Key Skills Required: Experienced Data comms installation technician, ideally within Construction, Automotive Production Facilities and Industrial environments. Also experienced in Optical Fibre, Single-mode and Multi-mode termination techniques (i.e. fusion splicing, hot melt, etc) testing, fault finding and ideally experience in blown fibre installations. Additional Requirements: * Electrical background or electrical knowledge would be preferable. * Working at Heights and have relevant certificates. * Working around Plant and Machinery. * Flexible working Hours/Weekends/Nights. * IPAF/MEWP Licence * CSCS card To Apply: In the first instance please contact Ciaran May on (phone number removed) or email a current CV to (url removed)
