Multi-Shift Maintenance Engineer Dorset £35,000 - £40,000 Panama Shift - Days & Nights Our client is a leading food processing & packaging manufacturer, with a reputation for product quality which is second to none and industry leading standards. Due to continued customer growth they are looking for a number of Multi-Skilled Shift Engineers to join their close knit team. Role & Responsibilities: * Provide front line engineering support to all food processing, production & packaging machinery * Prioritise breakdowns on shift to get machinery up and running as safely and quickly as possible * Carrying out both electrical & mechanical fault finding & routine maintenance plans * Keep machinery working to the designed output efficiency * Dealing with conveyors, PLC's, control systems, motors, pumps, inverters, HMi's etc. * Working on facilities and site services maintenance daily * Regular PPM and scheduled maintenance and improvement works Knowledge, Skills & Experience: * Need to be a multi-skilled maintenance engineer - electrically biased * Ideally qualified to City & Guilds 2330 in Electrotechnical * Apprentice Trained * Strong cultural fit need to be a confident character with a good sense of humour * Ideally have at least 5years' experience in food / FMCG manufacturing * Experienced in high-volume, fast moving environment, supplying into retailer outlets * Excellent verbal & written communication skills * Beneficial to have worked on high-speed food production, packaging & processing machinery * Advantageous to have 17th / 18th Edition * Proven experience of continuous improvement activities * PLC - electrical fault-finding skills a must * Strong electrical & mechanical problem-solving skills * Must be able to safely diagnose and isolate electrical faults Shifts & Benefits Package: * Shift:- Panama Shift - Days & Nights * Salary:- £35,000 - £40,000 Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Maintenance Technician, Electrical Engineer, PLC Engineer, Controls Engineer, Automation Engineer, Packaging Engineer, Packaging Technician
