Architectural / Structural Window Surveyor (Fenestration), Birmingham

Our client develops, design, build and install Hi-tec Architectural glazing, doors, screens, box extetions for and screens for prestigious buildings (domestic, commercial and heritage sites). They are looking to recruit a surveyor with CAD experience to join our busy Design Offce. Undertaking detailed site surveys and ensuring design proposals are appropriate for the given application, you will be liaising with our sales team, designers, clients and their contractors. Suitable Candidates Will Have * Surveying skills with the ability to accurately map and dimension structural details * A good understanding of relevant building regulations * A full, clean driving licence * General computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) * CAD experience, preferably AutoCAD and/ or Autodesk Inventor * Excellent communication and time management skills * A confident, outgoing personality and an eye for detail * A willingness to travel throughout the country (sometimes staying over) to conduct surveys * A good understanding of general construction and joinery principles If you are experienced in this field you will have a same day phone call to dicuss the role and your requirements in detail prior to proceeding
