Senior Frontend Developer, Nationwide

Senior Frontend Developer Location: Remote Job Type: Permanent, full time Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 I am looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to join an industry leading streaming media company that works in the sports, media and betting arena. This company excels in using the latest technology to provide on demand and live streaming for fans across the world. Your role: You will lead a team of Front-End Developers to develop production quality code to a high standard, being fully responsible for their line management, personal development, performance management and learning and development. You'll ensure that your team have high quality, stretching performance management objectives that focus on personal development, but always with an eye on the objectives of the department and the company. You will use your experience to suggest and implement improvements to our front-end architecture, working closely with other Leads and Principals to ensure that at all times our vision of a collaborative, accountable, respectful, professional and inclusive environment is upheld. Experience required: - Excellent knowledge of current front-end technology trends - you will have your finger on the pulse and have experimented with other current development technologies - Proficiency in Angular development - Demonstrable experience of line management or team leadership in previous roles - Web development skills - you will have experience encompassing web technologies including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, Ajax and Restful APIs - Strong Knowledge of git source control - Proven track record of working within an Agile development team - An eye for detail - you will be able to anticipate issues and work to quickly resolve them prior to delivery - A passion and desire to learn new technologies and integrate into the technology stack in the future If you have the experience required and would like more information, please apply with your up to date CV
