Criminal Defence Solicitor, Birmingham

Sue Ross Legal are currently seeking a Criminal Defence Solicitor to join an upcoming firm of Solicitors based at their Birmingham office. This role will see the successful candidate handling a varied and complex caseload consisting of: ? Serious fraud ? Bail applications ? Murder, drug and theft cases Key responsibilities will include: ? Interviewing witnesses ? Drafting legal documents ? Liaising with various parties including CPS and Courts ? Police station interviews ? Representing in Magistrates Court ? Advocacy The right candidate will be at least 3 years PQE, ambitious and willing to complete the Duty Solicitor qualification. (Although this is just a guide and candidates with more or less experience may be considered). You will be a confident advocate and demonstrate the ability to deal with a range of clients at all levels.
