Duties

• Monitor and maintain computer networks ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Troubleshoot software issues across multiple operating systems.
• Offer technical support to end-users.
• Assist with desktop support tasks including installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware and peripherals.
• Manage user accounts and permissions within Microsoft Office applications and other enterprise software tools.
• Support network infrastructure by configuring routers, switches, and firewalls to uphold security standards.
• Document incidents, resolutions, and system configurations accurately for future reference.
• Collaborate with IT teams on system upgrades, patches, and security enhancements to maintain organisational compliance.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of computer networking principles.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues across Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with desktop support tasks such as hardware repair, OS installation, and peripheral setup.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with users at all levels of technical proficiency.
• Competence in using Microsoft Office suite for documentation and user support purposes.
• Understanding of computer hardware components and their maintenance requirements.

Pay: £31,500.00 per year
