Receptionist

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Hotel Receptionist to work within the front office team at Clayton Hotel Birmingham.

Your Job
  • Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel.
  • Take and confirm reservations for guests using the system Opera
  • Register guests and process payments - ensuring accurate and efficient accounts and guest billing processes are followed
  • Update all guest information in the system.
  • Build a good rapport with guests and resolve any complaints/issues quickly to maintain high quality customer service.
  • Deal with guest requests to ensure a comfortable and pleasant stay
  • Respond to any inquiries guests may have about in-house facilities and local tourist information.
  • Ensure correspondence and emails are responded to in a timely manner
What You'll Need
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Capability to remain calm and perform well under pressure.
  • Experience in 3/ 4-star hotel is desired but not essential
