Join a team of experts and progressive thinkers

Our corporate team has extensive experience of advising on M&A transactions, MBOs, corporate reorganisations, joint ventures and private equity / venture capital, as well as providing corporate law and governance advice. The team provides transactional and advisory services to a wide range of clients including:
  • Major corporates
  • Regional and national companies
  • Business owners / start-ups and growing businesses
  • Management teams, investors and lenders
  • Central government bodies and local authorities
  • Housing associations, as well as development and regeneration vehicles

As a senior team member, you will work closely with our partners to deliver innovative and client-focused legal advice alongside supervising junior lawyers in our team. You will also be encouraged to actively participate in business development and client facing activities.

The role

We are looking for a Senior Associate or Legal Director to join our ambitious and growing corporate law practice. You will play a key role within our national corporate team to deliver commercially focused high-quality, legal advice.

What we are looking for from you

Experience of corporate work (mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, restructurings, corporate governance and general company law) is essential.

The successful candidate will also possess the following skills and experiences:
  • 7+ PQE
  • Sound legal knowledge and commercial awareness, with an ability to give tailored and solution focused advice to clients, and colleagues as part of cross-discipline offerings
  • Experience of supervising more junior lawyers
  • A willingness and ability to get involved in business development activities and initiatives
  • A personable manner and a positive attitude
  • Strong communication skills with a professional approach to work
  • A keenness to work collaboratively with colleagues at senior and junior levels

We operate a hybrid working model based on the needs of our clients, teams and people. Our core business hours are 9am - 5:15pm Monday to Friday, but we're open to our people working more flexibly around those times and welcome a conversation with you if you have any questions about this.
